Matt and Joanna, his wife, both grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Penn State, where Matt studied communications, and Joanna studied nursing science. They met through RUF at Penn State, and loved being a part of the ministry there as students.
Matt fell in love with Christ and his church through his time in RUF at Penn State, and he is excited to return to do ministry with college students! Matt loves camping, running, board games, sports, movies, and trying new foods. Joanna is a YXL Northeast alum and is excited to be giving Matt a unique perspective and insight into what to expect at YXL Northeast 2026.
